Finding Key Structures in MMORPG Graph with Hierarchical Graph Summarization

What are the key structures existing in a large real-world MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) graph? How can we compactly summarize an graph with hierarchical node labels, considering substructures at different levels of hierarchy? Recent MMORPGs generate complex interactions between entities inducing heterogeneous where each entity has labels. Succinctly summarizing is crucial to better understand its structure; however it challenging task since needs handle and labels efficiently. Although there exist few methods large-scale graph, they do not deal graphs labels.We propose GSHL , novel method that summarizes We formulate encoding cost using MDL (Minimum Description Length). exploits formulation identify segment subgraphs, discovers compact consistent graph. Experiments on multi-million edges show useful scalable tool for finding important similar users.
